Taj Hotels is giving Taj Inner Circle Gold and Platinum members a fantastic 50% off the Best Available Rate. The rate will only be visible to TIC Gold and Platinum members, and they will need to log in to do it.
This campaign includes several hotels. Some are available for as little as INR 2500 per night. That would be like receiving ibis’ rates at a high-end Taj resort (by the way, we love ibis).
There is a 50% discount deal available for stays. However, you must reserve in advance.

Explanations
The Indian Hotels Company Limited’s loyalty program is referred to as “Taj Inner Circle” (or “TIC”).
The Indian Hotels Company Limited’s “Epicure Plan of Taj Inner Circle” is a supplemental meal option available upon payment of an annual membership fee.
A natural person who is accepted as a Taj Inner Circle or Epicure member is referred to as a “Member.”
The Taj Inner Circle Epicure plan or the standard magnetic-stripe membership card that is given to members are both referred to as “Cards.”
Humble opinion
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and the courts located in Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising out of these terms and conditions, the TIC, and/or Epicure.
IHCL reserves the right to offer TIC or Epicure membership and benefits at its sole discretion.
If the laws of the member’s country of residence forbid it, membership in the TIC or Epicure shall be void.
Enrollment and loyalty
Individuals must be 18 years of age or older to join.
Enrollment in Taj Inner Circle or the Taj Inner Circle Epicure plan is not permitted for corporations, associations, or groups.
Multiple accounts cannot have members who can keep their membership or gain points. An individual will only be credited with Points for one membership account if they are assigned more than one membership account. It is possible to delete duplicate membership accounts.
Gaining of Points
There are only Participating Hotels and Participating Restaurants where TIC Points can be earned. It is possible for the list of Participating Hotels and Participating Restaurants to change at any time, without prior warning. The website www.tajinnercircle.com will occasionally be updated with a list of Participating Hotels and Participating Restaurants.
Points expire
All Taj Inner Circle points will continue to be valid for at least 12 months after the date of obtaining them and as long as the member is still participating in the program. Before October 16, 2019, a member is considered active if they have completed at least one eligible point-earning hotel stay at a participating IHCL hotel.
Membership advantages
By IHCL’s and the Participating Hotels’ exclusive discretion, a range of services and advantages offered to Taj Inner Circle and Epicure plan members are provided. Every Participating Hotel does not offer every service. If a member is denied a benefit by IHCL or a Participating Hotel, IHCL is not responsible for making up the difference.
Benefits from Taj Inner Circle or the Epicure plan cannot be combined with other currently available promotions or discounts.
All lodging discounts are contingent upon availability and prior reservation.
Perks of the Taj Inner Circle Silver
- Achieving the TIC Silver category requires spending INR 1 lakh or staying 10 qualifying hotel nights.
- For each INR 100 of qualified expenditures made at participating IHCL hotels, net of taxes, a Silver tier member will receive 5 Taj Inner Circle Points.
Advantages of the Taj Inner Circle Gold
Achieving the TIC Gold category requires spending INR 4 lakhs or booking 40 qualifying hotel nights.
At participating hotels, a Gold tier member will receive 7 Taj Inner Circle Points for every INR 100 of qualified expenditures, net of taxes.

Vouchers for Taj Club upgrades:
Airport transfers and any other services that the hotel considers to be outsourced are not included in the upgrade.
Only those who are staying in the designated room category are eligible to access the perks of the Taj Club room. Non-Residents and Non-Occupants will be charged for the service and will not be permitted to access the advantages.
The Taj Club lounge access is subject to hotel management’s discretion.
Taj Club policies and guidelines shall be followed.
Upgrades are contingent upon availability at check-in. These vouchers cannot be transferred. These vouchers’ expiration dates cannot be changed. The voucher is valid for one year following the date of tier retention or upgrading. The Program management has the sole authority to withdraw this voucher.
Privileges of the Taj Inner Circle Platinum
- 80 eligible lodging nights or acceptable expenditures of INR 8 lakhs are required to reach the TIC Platinum tier.
- At participating hotels, a Platinum tier member will receive 8 Taj Inner Circle Points for every INR 100 of qualified spending, net of taxes.
- Unlimited Upgrade e-Vouchers, good for a free upgrade to the next type of room booked for a maximum of 5 nights per stay, based on space at participating IHCL Hotels at the time of check-in. Upgrading e-Vouchers won’t work if you want to go from a basic category suite to a higher room category (or equivalent room, as per the hotel nomenclature).

Vouchers for Taj Club upgrades:
The upgrade does not include airport transfers or any other services that the hotel considers to be outsourced services.

Rewarding and Redeemed
Through the website or the Taj Inner Circle Member Services, you can use Taj Inner Circle Points to reserve hotel rooms at a rate of 1 TIC Point = Rs. 1. Taj Inner Circle Points can be redeemed in real time for approved incidental costs including laundry, spa treatments, telecommunications, food and beverage, and lodging at a rate of 1 TIC Point = Rs. Gift cards and other items featured on the website are also available as redemptions for Taj Inner Circle Points.
When making a reservation, the points needed will be dynamically determined. Platinum tier members will be eligible for a 50% reduction on the dynamic rate used to determine the number of points needed to redeem a stay.
Reservations for rooms can be made in advance through the website www.tajinnercircle.com or by calling or emailing Taj Inner Circle Member Services. Subject to availability, Taj Inner Circle Member Services will make the appropriate reservations for rewards upon receipt of the request.
Terms governing Taj Inner Circle’s Epicure plan’s certificates, e-vouchers, and advantages

No more than one certificate may be used at once.
Benefit from Epicure: 50% off the first three dining purchases
After enrolling in or renewing their Epicure membership, users are eligible to receive back 50 TIC points for every INR 100 of eligible spending on the first three food and beverage transactions at participating restaurants, pubs, and cake shops. II. This promotion will be valid for any meal transactions completed in person at the participating establishments. Please be aware that this offer does not apply to F&B transactions for in-room eating or those combined with settling for the entire stay.
The transaction value cannot be less than INR 100 to take advantage of this deal.
The benefit of Epicure: One Free Night
A free night’s stay (with breakfast for two guests) is included with Epicure membership at certain hotels in India. The benefit of Epicure: Upgrade e-Vouchers
Members who have an Epicure membership receive two upgrade e-Vouchers. For a maximum of 5 nights per stay, the upgrade e-Vouchers are valid for a free upgrade to the next type of room.
Valid for a single user and only for a continuous stay of up to 5 consecutive nights.
If any are available, the e-vouchers will be loaded into the member’s account and can be used by showing the membership card when checking in at the hotel.

Specials and Promotions
Members of the Taj Inner Circle (TIC), which is a component of the Warmer Welcomes partnership, will accrue TIC points at Shangri-La Hotels. After connecting their accounts with the Golden Circle and Taj Inner Circle, Taj Inner Circle members can earn TIC Points on the following purchases for the qualifying stays:

Assurance of Service
The Taj Inner Circle service guarantee shall be applicable in cases where the Taj Inner Circle Service Centre associate committed to responding to the member’s query or concern within a certain amount of time after the member notified the service center. The member is not permitted to use the service guarantee for additional service recoveries.
Bottom-line
Getting 50% off at Taj hotels is uncommon. There are very few discounts and most of them are luxury houses.
This sale includes several hotels, and as of right now, it seems that finding decent savings is not difficult. This is the second time we’ve seen this fantastic offer, and it may be the last as travel may resume as usual in a few months.
