The American Express Reward Multiplier is a shopping portal that you may use to access the online store of your choice and earn additional reward points. Each card variety offers a different number of points.

All Corporate Cards and Cobrand Cards are not eligible to earn additional points through the portal. With the Reward Multiplier from American Express, you may earn up to 25,000 additional Membership Rewards points each month.

Since the Amex Reward multiplier was implemented, you have been sure that the 5x/10x will not assist them. It makes the 22 MR on 100 INR (or) 22X on centurion (66 MR on 100 INR) a wise investment. For those with basic Amex cards, the deal is “excellent” but “mind-blowing” for those with centurion cards. Unfortunately, most of those would already be holding HDFC Infinia or Diners Black, so it’s not a terrific offer for the Amex Plat charge.
Reward Multiplier Special Promotion offering up to 22X Membership Rewards Points
For purchases made between January 16 and January 26, 2022, American Express is granting 22 Membership Rewards points/INR 100 on all cards that offer the Reward Multiplier feature. Indeed, this is a considerable increase for the less expensive American Express Cards. Reward Multiplier offers 5X Membership Rewards points on American Express Platinum Cards, 3X Membership Rewards points on American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Cards, and 2X Membership Rewards points on other American Express Proprietary Cards will not be valid during this promotional time. Instead, the Cardmember will receive a higher accelerated earn of 22 Membership Rewards Points via the Rewards Multiplier on every INR 100 spent. These consist of the following:

Recent Updates
In August of last year, American Express launched Reward Multiplier, its exclusive offers and deals aggregator portal in India, on the model of HDFC SmartBuy and Axis Bank Grab Deals. It was done in response to the growing percentage of online spending on its customers’ credit card statements, which increased even more during the pandemic. A few new names, such Vero Moda, FirstCry, Portronics, etc., have been added to the platform. The American Express rewards multiplier offerings are unchanged for December 2022. The following deals are still available to cardholders, so they can continue to profit from them:
December 2022 Update
Amazon Pay Gift Cards were taken off the Rewards Multiplier website, but now AmEx has added Amazon Shopping Cards, which allow you to earn up to 10 times as much MR points depending on the card variation. Amazon Pay vouchers are distinct from Amazon Shopping Vouchers. Amazon Shopping gift cards cannot be used to pay for services like utilities or on websites that accept Amazon Pay.
June 2022 Update – New Partner Brands Added To Rewards Multiplier
Customers who purchase certain brands through American Express Bank’s Reward Multiplier platform receive expedited Reward Points. Holders of AmEx credit cards can earn up to 5 times as many reward points on their purchases. The Rewards Multiplier platform has recently received some new partner additions from AmEx. Along with the previously added companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Apple, Myntra, TataCliq, and many others, new partners like Croma, Philips, Portronics, Allen Solly, Jack and Jones, FabIndia, and FirstCry have also been added to the web. You may now use your American Express credit cards to purchase from these recently added partners through the Rewards Multiplier gateway and earn 3x Reward Points. However, there is also some slightly depressing information. Until June 30, 2022, the expedited Reward Points offer on Amazon will be active before it expires.
Terms & Conditions
- Within 120 days of the transaction date, the excess reward points will be credited to the cardholders’ accounts
- The cardholder will only be qualified for expedited reward points if the transaction is completed through the Rewards Multiplier portal rather than the merchant website
- Without providing prior notification, the card issuer maintains the right to modify or change the offer at any moment

As previously mentioned, American Express’s Reward Multiplier is an aggregator website where AmEx cardholders can earn Membership Rewards Points at accelerated rates on their credit cards for shopping vouchers, subscription service offers (like SonyLIV/Disney+hotstar), and travel vouchers/deals (flight bookings, hotel reservations, etc.) from partner merchants. Leading brands from every sector are represented among American Express partner merchants, from (generic) e-commerce sites to electronics, fashion, and travel. When you choose a partner merchant on Reward Multiplier, you are taken to the merchant’s page, where you can add items to your cart and finish the transaction (on the third-party merchant’s website). You receive more Membership Rewards Points on your American Express credit card if the purchase is completed successfully. It should be noted that the benefit of the additional Membership Rewards Points is only valid if you arrive at the partner merchant’s website via Reward Multiplier.
